Request account deletion
You can ask CAfy to permanently delete your account and the personal data linked to it. You do not need to keep the app installed to make a request.
How to request deletion
- Open the CAfy contact form using the button below.
- Choose Privacy as the request type and write “Delete my CAfy account” in the message.
- Use the email address registered with your CAfy account so we can verify ownership before deletion.
You may also email hello@cafy.in from your registered address with the subject “Delete my CAfy account”.
What is deleted
After verification, we delete or anonymize your account profile, learning preferences, saved items, notes, reading progress, quiz and Test Series activity, notification installation records and other account-linked learning data.
What may be retained
We may retain limited records where required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, billing or dispute-resolution obligations. Those records are restricted, kept only for the required period and are not used to provide a continuing learner profile.
Timing and confirmation
We acknowledge requests through the contact channel, may ask for reasonable identity verification, and send confirmation when deletion is complete. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
